We are a five thousand acre MLDP-Conservation (Formerly MLD3) family-oriented lease located approx. 7 miles north of Buna in Jasper County Texas. Our property consists of a centralized campsite that has a camp kitchen, satellite TV, individual campsites, a 600lb ice machine, a covered skinning rack, and a 200-yard rifle range with a covered shooting bench. Each campsite has electricity, running water, and sewer. Each annual membership is $2,750.00 and consists of the member, their spouse, and any children through high school. Membership includes 1 camper spot and 2 hunting locations on the property. We offer quality deer hunting as well as year-round hog and predator hunting. There is also approx. a 2.5-acre fishing pond on the property. The lease maintains year-round protein feeding through the use of numerous protein feeding stations. The cost of the protein and utilities are included in the membership cost.

Our bucks have to be 4.5 years of age to be harvested. While we make every effort to ensure that we only harvest mature bucks, accidents do happen. We do have penalties in place for violating our harvest guidelines. All of our members strive to be more proficient at aging bucks in the field by judging the body characteristics of various bucks. Most members utilize multiple game cameras. Many members then share various photos and discuss various buck body characteristics to avoid shooting a buck that doesn't meet our criteria. Though this lease has been MLDP-Converservation for several years, it has only been under a protein program for the last 4 years. In each of the last 3 seasons, there has been a buck over 142" harvested with the biggest being 166 4/8". We are beginning to see the results of our commitment to our program.
We realize that each time a prospective member comes to view the lease, we are going through a kind of "interview". At the same time, we are interviewing the prospective member to make sure that they have the experience needed to be successful on a managed lease, and that they would be a good fit for our membership.
